The Quality and Food safety of our products is based on the fact that all ingredients, packaging materials and production processes are suitable for the production of safe, healthy and tasty products, a work we have been developing continuously for more than 50 years.
Through the control of our ingredients and packing suppliers, we can guarantee that our products meet our customer’s expectations. Sugalidal has implemented in all production lines the HACCP (Hazard analysis and Critical Control points) system to identify all possible risks as well as control the measures.
We have a modern and well equipped laboratory where product samples are regularly tested throug the production process for complete evaluation and also to guarantee specification compliance for physical-chemical characteristics such as color, salt, pH, consistency and microbiological characteristics, presence of residues of pesticides, among others.

The management systems implemented in the industrial units are recognized by external entities and this is demonstrated by certificates: BS EN ISO 22.000:2005, ISO 14.001, IFS – International Food Standard – higher level; BRC British Retail Consortium- Grade A.
We have also KOSHER and ORGANIC production.
Traceability
Product traceability is fundamental for Quality assurance and Food safety control.
Since 1990´s Sugalidal started to invest on the a traceability system that could guarantee the origin of the product.
This system has been continuously updated and currently with the traceability system implemented we can trace all the process from the seed, field (farmer, crop application program) as well as all parameters that can affect the safety and quality of our products through all the process chain to finished product and distribution.
The traceability system developed by Sugalidal identifies by the batch number inserted on each product all product history covering each and every ingredient and packaging material.
Traceability liability is tested internally and externally with our customers and partners at least twice a year.
